Cement grinding station

 

Cement grinding station is the independent production unit for cement finished products. Cement clinker will be grinded to finished cement with proper mixture. There are three processes of cement production, raw meal preparation, clinker burning and cement making. Production process of silicate cement is typical in cement production. The main raw material is limestone and clay. After crushing and proportioning, raw material is grinded to raw meal. Raw meal will fed into cement kiln and burned to clinker. Clinker will be grinded to cement with proper gypsum (sometime with mixture or additive).

 

The layout of cement production is to set up cement clinker production line in mine area and cement grinding station near cement market to reduce transportation cost. If the clinker production line is near city, every 1t clinker will cost about 1.6t cement raw meal as well as increase 60% transportation cost. If cement grinding station and clinker production are in the mine area meanwhile, the transportation cost will also increase. It is due to that transport mixture from city to cement plant and then transport cement to city will cost a lot. Therefore, the clinker production line should set up near mine area and the cement grinding station near market. Cement grinding station is a industry with green benefit.
